Welcome to Xcel Church and thanks for checking us out online! Our passion is for the people of County Durham and we would love to meet you at any of our Sunday Services. From those who greet you as you arrive to our Guest Lounge, our main focus is YOU!!!
So you’re thinking, “what’s the next step?…where do I go from here?“ Well, we’re really glad you asked!
After every service we have a Welcome Lounge setup where you can find out more about our church and what we have to offer you. You can grab a coffee or cup of tea and hang out with our friendly Connect Team volunteers. They can help answer any of the questions you might have.
Every few months or so we put on a New to Church Lunch which allows you to find out more about Xcel, discover how to get connected and gain an understanding of our core vision and values. There will also be a time to have questions answered regarding our faith and church. You will have the opportunity to meet some of the staff and leaders of our church. Don’t worry about the cost because lunch is on us. Got questions? send us an email.
When you walk in the doors of Xcel, we understand that you might have quesions about faith, God, and what we believe. You can join an Alpha Course which is designed to answer just these types of questions. In addition we have our Next Steps Course, which has been designed to equip you as a new partner at Xcel with the culture and core beliefs of our church.
